On March 28, the Xiong'an New Area played host to the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Parallel Forum—the Xiong'an 'AI+' Industrial Ecosystem Integration Development Forum. As the sole parallel forum held outside Beijing for the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum, this gathering drew a crowd of over 300 attendees, encompassing academicians, industry experts, as well as representatives from leading enterprises and investment institutions. The forum spotlighted the innovative approaches being taken to foster collaborative development within the AI sector between Beijing and Xiong'an. It also unveiled technological breakthroughs stemming from Beijing-Xiong'an joint innovation initiatives and presented a roster of 'open competition' projects aimed at spurring collaborative AI research endeavors between the two regions. Furthermore, the forum witnessed the signing of a series of pivotal technology cooperation and industrial investment projects. Concurrently, the Xiong'an New Area AI 'Hundred Models Competition' was also officially launched.
