At a recent conference summarizing its phased achievements, the National AI Application Pilot Base in Shanghai showcased five key innovations alongside nine medical AI applications, with the goal of propelling high-quality growth in the 'AI + Healthcare' domain. These five innovations encompass: the development of a unified, cutting-edge computing power service platform that empowers domestic models to effectively leverage domestic chips; the introduction of six specialized foundational medical models, culminating in a fully independent and controllable multimodal large model framework; the establishment of a national-level demonstration infrastructure for medical AI data; the creation of MedBench 4.0, a Chinese medical large model testing platform, along with the formulation of industry evaluation benchmarks; and the selection and promotion of top-tier medical AI applications to streamline their integration into clinical environments.
