At a recent press conference, it was disclosed that as of March this year, China's average daily token calls have soared beyond 140 trillion. This marks a staggering increase of over 1,000 times compared to the figures at the beginning of 2024 and represents a growth of more than 40% from the end of 2025. Such data underscores that China's artificial intelligence (AI) industry is stepping into a phase of rapid expansion, with significantly bolstered industrial competitiveness. Moreover, token exportation has emerged as a pivotal metric in this context. By the end of 2025, the nation had established over 100,000 high-quality datasets, with the cumulative volume surpassing 890PB. Looking ahead, the National Data Administration is poised to further propel data-driven innovation within the AI sector. It will undertake initiatives to construct high-quality datasets, craft AI-Ready datasets, and augment both the quality and quantity of data available.
