According to intellectual property data sourced from Tianyancha, Beijing Zijiao Network Technology Co., Ltd., a firm established in October 2018 and wholly owned by Douyin Group, has recently filed applications to register multiple trademarks under the name 'SEEDANCE'. These trademarks span various international classifications, encompassing convenience foods, medical and horticultural products, chemical raw materials, among others. At present, all applications are pending substantive examination.
It has been reported that Seedance 2.0 represents an AI-powered video generation model developed by ByteDance. This innovative model underwent a limited-scale internal testing phase on the Jimeng platform earlier this year, specifically in February.
