On March 16, LG Group's CEO revealed on Monday that the company plans to collaborate with leading AI enterprises such as Google and NVIDIA to lead the development in the field of home robots. He pointed out that the home environment is the 'ultimate unstructured environment,' full of variables, such as socks on the floor, children suddenly running in, etc., all of which pose challenges to the robots' contextual understanding capabilities. With 70 years of experience in developing home appliances, LG has accumulated a wealth of data on home environments. Currently, LG is working with Google to enhance the robots' contextual awareness using Gemini technology; at the same time, it is utilizing NVIDIA's Isaac platform to train and test robots in digital twin environments.
