Meta has recently introduced a new round of anti-fraud features across its social applications, including WhatsApp, Facebook, and Messenger. These features encompass screen-sharing warnings, AI anti-fraud assistants, and more. Additionally, Meta has strengthened its collaboration with law enforcement agencies and industry partners from various countries to jointly combat fraudulent activities. Previously, data from the Singapore Police Force indicated that 37.3% of fraud cases were linked to platforms under Meta. The introduction of these anti-fraud tools may help Meta avoid fines from authorities.
