Swedish legal AI startup Legora announced on Tuesday that it has completed a $550 million Series D funding round, with its valuation soaring to $5.55 billion. The funds raised will be used to accelerate its expansion in the U.S. market. Led by Accel, this funding round attracted participation from numerous new and existing investors. Legora CEO Max Junerstrand stated that the popularity of the company's products in the U.S. has exceeded expectations, and this funding will help the company accelerate its growth in the U.S., increase investments in talent and infrastructure, and further strengthen its core market presence. The company plans to establish additional operation centers by the end of 2026 and increase its U.S. office staff to over 300. Notably, Legora also completed a $150 million funding round last October, when its valuation was $1.8 billion.
