The R&D team of Touxing Technology in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, has ingeniously crafted a pair of AI glasses tailored for the blind, aptly named 'Tongzhe', harnessing the power of a domestic large model. These glasses boast an array of functions, including the ability to discern road conditions, recognize street signs, and even read menus aloud. To cater specifically to the needs of visually impaired individuals, the team has diligently refined the obstacle avoidance response time of the glasses, slashing it from 500 milliseconds to a mere 300 milliseconds. Cai Qionghui, a piano tuner who tragically lost her sight unexpectedly, often found herself disoriented and lost when venturing out previously. However, with the invaluable assistance of 'Tongzhe', she can now confidently traverse unfamiliar streets on her own, rekindling her hope for a life and career that mirrors those of ordinary individuals. 'Tongzhe' embodies a lightweight system design, comprising three integral components: smart glasses, a Bluetooth ring, and a smart terminal.
