On February 16, 2026, the five-day India Artificial Intelligence Impact Summit, with the theme of "People, Progress, Planet," commenced in New Delhi. This summit, organized by India's Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, is being hailed as the "largest of its kind ever held." Alongside leaders from countries such as France and Brazil, notable tech executives are also expected to grace the event. These include Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google; Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI; and Brad Smith, President of Microsoft. Indian Prime Minister Modi is slated to deliver a keynote speech on February 19.
