On the eve of the 2026 Spring Festival, which falls in the Year of the Horse, Huawei Cloud unveiled the public beta of its "CodeArts" intelligent coding agent, inviting 10,000 users to participate. This innovative product combines three core functionalities: an integrated programming environment, an autonomous development mode, and a powerful code repository search tool. Leveraging the advanced capabilities of the GLM-4.7 and DeepSeek-V3.2 AI models, CodeArts is designed to seamlessly integrate with two widely used Integrated Development Environments (IDEs): the JetBrains suite and Visual Studio Code.

Upon receiving user requirements, the AI is capable of directly generating code snippets, with full copyright ownership transferred to the users. Currently, developers can access the personal version of CodeArts free of charge, while details regarding the enterprise version are set to be announced in due course.
