On February 4, it was reported by the National Film Administration that the "AI + Film Virtual Shooting Fusion and Innovation Laboratory" was officially unveiled in Deqing, Zhejiang Province. Co-established by the Zhejiang Provincial Film Administration and the China Film Science and Technology Research Institute, the laboratory will focus on the deep integration and innovation of artificial intelligence and virtual shooting technologies. It will prioritize the localization of key technologies, the incubation of pilot projects, the construction of a full-process platform for AI virtual production, the formulation of industry standards, and international exchanges and cooperation. The laboratory will conduct forward-looking research and development and industrial applications, aiming to create an internationally leading AI film and television virtual production base, lead the intelligent transformation of the film and television industry, and promote industrial upgrading and the development of new-quality productive forces.
