On February 2, 2026, Snowflake and OpenAI unveiled a multi-year collaboration agreement valued at $200 million. Prior to this, Snowflake had already inked a comparable deal with Anthropic, also amounting to $200 million. In a parallel move, Snowflake introduced a novel offering, Cortex Code, envisioned as an AI-driven programming assistant. This tool is designed to be seamlessly embedded within the Snowflake interface, providing users with invaluable support in tasks ranging from query refinement to system navigation.
