The CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee has unveiled a proposal for crafting the 15th Five-Year Plan for Suzhou's National Economic and Social Development, outlining an ambitious vision to construct an exemplary 'AI+' city. Suzhou is set to forge ahead with the development of a digitally-driven metropolis, capitalizing on the establishment of the national new-generation AI innovation and development pilot zone, along with the AI-driven new industrialization pilot zone. The city will fully embrace the 'AI+' strategy, establish a national pilot ground for AI application experiments (specifically in the manufacturing sector), and spearhead a holistic transformation and modernization of the manufacturing industry.

Suzhou is committed to driving the seamless and coordinated advancement of AI-fueled research, technological innovation, engineering prowess, and the marketization of products. It will proactively invest in cutting-edge application technologies, including AI chips and quantum computing, and champion the development and dissemination of specialized vertical models. Furthermore, Suzhou will nurture a comprehensive industrial ecosystem for AI, fostering the growth of competitive and distinctive industrial clusters.
