On January 21, 2026, the Information Office of the State Council convened a press briefing to highlight the strides made in industrial and information technology advancements during 2025. Zhang Yunming, the Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, revealed that the domestic landscape would boast over 140 enterprises specializing in complete humanoid robot systems, collectively launching more than 330 distinct models by 2025. Presently, China's humanoid robots have achieved remarkable stability in standing, walking, and even sprinting, marking a significant leap forward. They are now rapidly transitioning from being primarily utilized in stage performances and competitive events to becoming integral parts of daily life in households and industrial settings.
