The three major A-share indices got off to a strong start, all opening higher. The Shanghai Composite Index edged up by 0.11%, while the Shenzhen Component Index climbed 0.21%. The ChiNext Index also posted a modest gain of 0.07%. The AI application sector continued its upward trajectory, with a host of stocks witnessing remarkable surges. EzClick and Visual China, for instance, both soared to their daily limit. ChineseAll saw its stock price skyrocket by over 10%, and BlueFocus's shares jumped more than 9%. In the biotechnology and diversified financial sectors, performance was equally outstanding. Pharmablock's stock hit its daily limit, and Yuexiu Capital's shares rose by over 9%. On the flip side, the aerospace & defense and semiconductor sectors lagged behind. Aerospace Hi-Tech's stock plummeted by over 6%, and Risen Energy's shares took a hit, falling by over 5%.
