At the 2026 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), NVIDIA announced the launch of Alpamayo, the world's first thinking and reasoning model specifically designed for autonomous driving. This model is open-source and free of charge. The Mercedes-Benz CLA has become the first model to be equipped with this platform, featuring an enhanced Level 2 end-to-end driving assistance capability. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated that the first car equipped with its autonomous driving technology will be launched in the United States in the first quarter of 2026, followed by subsequent rollouts in the European and Asian markets.
