At the 2026 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2026), emerging startup Takway made a splash by introducing its innovative AI electronic pet, Sweekar. This compact, egg-shaped gadget, which fits comfortably in the palm of your hand, features a vibrant screen that facilitates engaging facial expression interactions. Drawing inspiration from the iconic electronic pet Tamagotchi, Sweekar seamlessly blends AI technology with a captivating growth mechanism and an integrated AI memory function. This function enables Sweekar to remember the user's voice and the various interactive activities they share.

Sweekar's lifecycle is divided into four distinct stages. It begins as a closed egg, which 'hatches' into a newborn after two days of nurturing. As it progresses, it grows through infancy and adolescence, eventually maturing into a fully-grown adult. In this adult stage, Sweekar is capable of independent entertainment and embarking on virtual adventures. Once it reaches full maturity, Sweekar attains a form of virtual 'immortality' after upgrading to level 51, meaning it can sustain itself without the risk of 'dying' from neglect.

Adding to its charm, Sweekar is available in a trio of appealing colors: pink, yellow, and blue. Users can further personalize their pet with interchangeable shells and outfits. While the final price for Sweekar has not been disclosed yet, it is anticipated to fall within the range of $100 to $150. Additionally, Takway has plans to launch a crowdfunding campaign via Kickstarter to support the product's launch and further development.
