Wang Yankui, Hao Yingyi, along with other students from the Institute of Parallel and Distributed Systems (IPADS) at the School of Computer Science, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, achieved the remarkable feat of securing the sole grand prize not once, but twice, in the 2025 AMD Inference Optimization Global Challenge. During their first award - winning moment, the prize was bestowed upon them by AMD's CEO, Lisa Su. However, when the opportunity to receive the award for the second time arose, the students were unable to make the journey to the United States. In a thoughtful gesture, AMD organized a special ceremony right on their university campus to present the coveted prize.
