Musk's xAI company is expanding its data center cluster in Memphis, US, having purchased a large warehouse in South Haven, Mississippi, with plans to build adjacent facilities. Previously, xAI has completed the construction of the 'Colossus' data center in Memphis and is currently building the 'Colossus 2' site. Musk stated that the newly acquired building will increase xAI's training computing power to nearly 2 gigawatts.
