On December 11, the 2025 TCL Global Technology Innovation Conference (TIC2025) convened in Guangzhou. Under the theme “AI for Real,” the conference zeroed in on how artificial intelligence (AI) technologies can be seamlessly integrated into real-world settings, paving the way for practical applications that elevate quality and efficiency on the B-side (business sector) and rekindle a focus on product fundamentals on the C-side (consumer sector). At the event, ten exemplary achievements in AI application scenarios were unveiled, and a worldwide AI talent recruitment drive was initiated. By leveraging AI applications, TCL reaped comprehensive benefits exceeding RMB 1 billion in 2025.

Li Dongsheng, the visionary founder of TCL, emphasized that the company is steadfastly boosting its investment in AI technologies to propel full-chain innovation and unlock large-scale value creation. For instance, TCL CSOT introduced the X-Intelligence 3.0 large model—the first vertical-domain large model in the global display industry with robust reasoning capabilities. This model is set to permeate core R&D and manufacturing processes.

In the manufacturing realm, TCL CSOT harnessed AI to enhance quality and efficiency, elevating the accuracy rate of ADC technology to an impressive 95%. The upgraded ADR technology brought about full-link automation for inspection, judgment, and repair, yielding annual benefits surpassing RMB 50 million. The X-Intelligence large model stands out as a leader in the display industry, accelerating product problem analysis efficiency by 20% and material development efficiency by 30%.

In the new energy and photovoltaic sector, TCL Zhonghuan capitalized on the DeepBlue AI model to enable single-person remote operation of 384 single-crystal furnaces, achieving a silicon wafer production breakage loss rate of less than 0.1%.

On the consumer front, TCL reimagined smart living scenarios through AI. Examples include the Thunderbird AI/AR glasses exploring the potential of intelligent wearable applications; the Xiaolanyi fresh air conditioner, which facilitates AI-driven sleep and fresh air management; the Dual Magnetic Fresh refrigerator, which preserves freshness via AI-powered intelligent temperature control; the AI Super Drum washing and drying machine, offering AI-driven smart laundry care; and the modular AI companion robot TCL AiMe, providing emotional companionship and human-like interaction.
