Adobe has unveiled the introduction of Photoshop, Express, and Acrobat tools for ChatGPT. ChatGPT users are now able to directly access and utilize these tools at no cost (albeit with certain restrictions) right within the chatbot interface, eliminating the need to switch between different chat platforms. This strategic partnership opens up a vast new user base for Adobe products, as they gain access to ChatGPT's impressive pool of over 800 million weekly active users. Adobe is committed to delivering user-friendly features tailored for beginners, while also providing a seamless transition to standalone applications for those who require more sophisticated functionalities. Specifically, the ChatGPT iteration of Photoshop is equipped with only fundamental editing capabilities, excluding advanced features like Generative Fill. Adobe is set to release its fourth-quarter financial results on Wednesday afternoon, a move that will serve as a testament to the soundness of its transformation strategy. For OpenAI, this collaboration forms part of its broader initiative to incorporate third-party applications; as early as October this year, OpenAI had already rolled out an application integration feature.
