Recently, AI firm Moonshot AI has witnessed significant high-level personnel shifts. Zhang Yutong has stepped into the role of 'President of Moonshot AI Kimi', taking on full responsibility for the company's overarching strategic planning, the execution of commercialization initiatives, and financing matters. Additionally, she will be actively involved in new product development.
Zhang Yutong boasts academic credentials from both Tsinghua University and Stanford University. Prior to joining Moonshot AI, she worked at GSR Ventures. Founded on April 17, 2023, Moonshot AI has been on a roll with product launches. In February 2025, it unveiled its latest model, Kimi Latest. This was followed by the introduction of the Kimi-Dev-72B large-scale code model in June and the launch of the Kimi K2 model, which came with two open-source versions, in July.
