On December 8, the findings of OpenAI's latest large-scale survey were unveiled, indicating that its AI products enable employees to save an average of 40 to 60 minutes per day on work-related tasks. This comprehensive survey, encompassing 100 companies and involving 9,000 employees, highlighted that AI-driven efficiency enhancements are especially prominent in sectors such as data science, engineering, and communications, as well as in specific job functions like accounting.

A remarkable three-quarters of the survey participants reported that leveraging AI has led to improvements in either the speed or the quality of their work output. OpenAI's Chief Operating Officer, Brad Lightcap, remarked that the rate at which enterprises are adopting AI is accelerating, aligning with or even outpacing consumer adoption in certain domains.

Echoing this sentiment, OpenAI's Chief Economist, Ronnie Chatterji, commented, "Nowadays, three-quarters of individuals claim they can accomplish tasks that were once deemed unattainable—a fact that is frequently overlooked in discussions surrounding AI and its impact on the workforce."
