On December 7, during the 29th Academic Conference on Digestive Diseases, hosted by the Sichuan Medical Association in Chengdu, Huawei formally introduced an AI data platform specifically designed for the healthcare sector. Leveraging the OceanStor A800 storage system, this platform incorporates three essential technologies: knowledge generation and retrieval, memory extraction and recall, as well as UCM (Unified Computing Module) inference acceleration. Its primary goal is to tackle the obstacles related to knowledge transformation and the ongoing evolution of AI within medical contexts, thereby expediting the widespread adoption of medical AI agents.

With the backing of Huawei's AI data platform, West China Hospital, in collaboration with Huawei, Runda Medical, and the Chengdu Intelligent Computing Center, has co-developed the 'Ruibin 2' medical AI agent. This innovative agent offers patients holistic diagnostic and treatment services throughout their entire illness journey. Additionally, it equips doctors with intelligent research tools, including literature assistants, swift evidence searches, and AI-generated summaries.
