At the 2025 re:Invent global conference, Amazon Web Services (AWS) introduced a series of groundbreaking innovations. Among them is the pioneering Nova Forge service. This service offers enterprises a unique opportunity to integrate their proprietary data during the initial training phases via an "open training" approach. This enables the creation of Nova-optimized variants that are precisely tailored to meet specific business requirements. Alongside this, AWS also launched Nova Act, a tool designed for building AI agents.
The Nova Forge service seamlessly merges enterprise-specific data with Nova's advanced AI capabilities. This fusion empowers businesses to craft exclusive, Nova-optimized models, dubbed "Novellas." A key feature of Nova Forge is its ability to provide access to model checkpoints at various stages of Nova's training—pre-training, mid-training, and post-training. This allows customers to infuse their proprietary data into Amazon Nova's carefully curated datasets at each critical juncture. The outcome is highly customized models that not only harness Nova's comprehensive knowledge and reasoning prowess but also possess a deep understanding of the enterprise's unique business landscape.
Presently, a number of prominent companies, including Booking.com, Reddit, and Sony, have already embarked on leveraging Nova Forge to construct their bespoke AI models.
