On December 3, Tesla CEO Elon Musk shared a brief video originally posted by Tesla's Optimus team on the social media platform X. The clip features a humanoid robot sprinting fluidly and naturally within a laboratory setting. Accompanying the video, the team's caption proudly announced the achievement of a new personal record.
Previously, during the shareholder meeting held on the evening of November 6, Musk had revealed plans to establish and commence operations of a humanoid robot production line the following year. He expressed his aspiration to price the mass-produced robots between $20,000 and $30,000. Furthermore, Musk forecasted that the robot's annual output capacity would surpass human productivity by fivefold. Presently, Tesla is actively engaged in testing the robot across diverse application scenarios in both factory and office environments.
