However, attaining this objective necessitates robust computational power, a reliable energy supply, and highly automated manufacturing capabilities. Musk disclosed that xAI is in the process of finalizing a debt financing agreement valued at up to $12 billion, aimed at acquiring NVIDIA chips and constructing next-generation data centers. This move is designed to bolster the expansion of training and inference clusters for the Grok model. In the meantime, he highlighted that the training and operation of AI models are significant energy consumers. Consequently, Tesla's energy division (including energy storage deployment) has emerged as a vital component in supporting AI operations. Furthermore, Musk noted that the Optimus humanoid robot and full self-driving technology constitute the cornerstone for the widespread adoption of AI. Nevertheless, issues such as manufacturing automation, regulatory clearances, and cost reduction still need to be resolved.
