On November 29, the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, in collaboration with the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park, unveiled the White Paper on Beijing's Artificial Intelligence Industry (2025). According to the white paper, during the first half of 2025, the scale of Beijing's core AI industry soared to 215.22 billion yuan, marking a year-on-year surge of 25.3%. It is anticipated that the annual industry scale will surpass the 450 billion yuan mark. The white paper also highlights that the global AI landscape is transitioning from isolated technological advancements to ecosystem-driven collaborative innovation. It forecasts explosive growth for various types of AI Agents and predicts a significant leap for embodied AI, moving from mere information processing to tangible physical operations.
