The Science and Technology Department under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has released a list of proposed members for the Humanoid Robot Standardization Technical Committee, with a total of 65 individuals earmarked for selection. This plan for establishing the committee was developed in response to the demands of industrial growth and sector management, and the publicity phase is designed to gather extensive feedback from the public. Among the nominees, Wang Xingxing, the founder and chairman of Unitree Robotics, along with Peng Zhihui, the co-founder, president, and CTO of Zhiyuan Innovation, are both proposed to serve as vice-chairpersons. Additionally, Zhang Guibing from Chery Automobile, You Fang from Huawei, Zhao Zhiyong from ZTE, and Huo Guojun from Guangzhou Xiaopeng Motors are also included as committee members.
