On November 24th, Beijing time, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman reported that OpenAI is aggressively poaching employees from Apple's hardware division. In just the past month, OpenAI has recruited over 40 employees for its device division, many of whom are engineers from Apple, covering key areas such as camera engineering, iPhone hardware, Mac hardware, and chips. Apple has expressed dissatisfaction, considering this a significant issue. Meanwhile, although Apple's Mini-Program Partner Program is currently targeting Tencent in the short term, its long-term goal may be OpenAI, as the latter is deploying mini-programs on ChatGPT.
