On November 17, 2025 (local time), Elon Musk's artificial intelligence enterprise, xAI, officially rolled out Grok 4.1. This latest iteration is now accessible on grok.com, the X platform, as well as through iOS and Android applications. It's available to every user, including those opting for the free tier, and comes pre-activated in Auto mode. Musk, the founder of xAI, emphasized that users will be able to perceive marked enhancements in both the speed and quality of the model. According to official statistics, Grok 4.1 has witnessed a significant decline in its hallucination rate, plummeting from 12.09% to a mere 4.22%. Additionally, its FActScore has also seen a substantial reduction, dropping from 9.89% to 2.97%. On the globally recognized blind testing platform, LMSYS Arena, Grok 4.1's Thinking mode has secured an impressive Elo rating of 1483, topping the charts among all publicly accessible models. Meanwhile, its non-reasoning counterpart has also performed admirably, achieving an Elo rating of 1465 and claiming the second spot.
