On November 13, Dai Weimin, Chairman and President of VeriSilicon, stated at the SSE International Investor Conference that end-side AI devices such as AI glasses are rapidly emerging, but on the whole, they are still in the stage of technical validation and ecosystem construction. Currently, the main bottleneck for the large-scale application of AI glasses lies in power consumption and energy efficiency. To achieve lightweight design and long standby times, reliance on the processing capabilities of small end-side models is necessary. VeriSilicon is focusing on optimizing the technical platform for AI glasses and has jointly launched the Coral NPU IP with Google to accelerate the deployment of large language models at the edge.
