On Tuesday, SoftBank Group revealed that it had fully divested its shares in NVIDIA, netting a substantial US$5.83 billion. This strategic move is part of SoftBank's broader initiative to amass funds for a comprehensive investment in OpenAI, the innovative entity behind ChatGPT. As per SoftBank's financial disclosures, the sale encompassed 32.1 million NVIDIA shares in October. Additionally, it was unveiled that a portion of its T-Mobile holdings was concurrently sold, generating an impressive US$9.17 billion.
