On November 4th, a live conference focusing on the development of high-quality datasets within the industry was convened in Nanjing. The conference took stock of the achievements made in constructing high-quality datasets and outlined the subsequent actions to be taken. The National Data Bureau is set to fully embrace the "Artificial Intelligence+" strategy, with a particular emphasis on six pivotal areas: prioritizing scenario-driven methodologies, distilling best practices for dataset construction, implementing rigorous quality checks, cultivating a market consensus along with mechanisms for rewarding high-quality data, advancing engineering and infrastructure endeavors, and fostering collaborative efforts to drive progress. As of the end of September, the cumulative volume of high-quality datasets across the nation had surpassed 500 petabytes (PB), with seven data annotation centers contributing to a total output value of 16.3 billion yuan.
