On November 5, during the sub-forum themed "High-Quality Development of the Artificial Intelligence Industry" at the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE), Frank Meng, Chairman of Qualcomm China, delivered a keynote address titled "From Edge Intelligence to the 6G Era: Unlocking New Avenues for High-Quality Industrial Growth."

He emphasized that artificial intelligence (AI) is emerging as the central driving force behind the latest wave of technological transformation. AI is not only revolutionizing application scenarios but is also reshaping the dynamics of human-machine interaction. In essence, AI is evolving into the "new user interface," propelling user experiences into an era dominated by "intelligent agents."

Qualcomm has already embarked on 6G research and development, with the anticipation that pre-commercial 6G terminals will make their debut as early as 2028. 6G transcends being a mere upgrade in communication technology; it represents an innovative platform that seamlessly integrates cutting-edge functionalities, notably AI.

In collaboration with Chinese partners, Qualcomm has also launched the "AI Accelerator Initiative." This initiative aims to deliver intelligent agent AI experiences across a diverse range of devices and foster the widespread integration of AI.

Furthermore, at the CIIE, Qualcomm unveiled the "2025 Qualcomm IoT Innovation Case Collection." This showcase highlights remarkable accomplishments in overseas expansion achieved through partnerships with Chinese entities.
