Recently, Hangzhou Unitree Robotics Co., Ltd. proudly announced that its patent, titled "A Robot Joint Control Method and System Based on Motion Capture Equipment," has received official authorization from the National Intellectual Property Administration. This groundbreaking patent addresses the key limitations found in current robot joint control solutions, which often fall short in terms of effective human-robot collaboration, natural interaction capabilities, and overall flexibility.

The patent introduces a sophisticated system comprising four main modules: motion capture, data processing, coordinate system transformation, and solution optimization. By leveraging these modules, the system can seamlessly convert human joint rotation posture data—captured through advanced motion capture equipment—into precise target joint control information for robots. This process ensures efficient and accurate mapping of human movements onto robots.

This innovative approach empowers robots to respond with agility to sudden movements and engage in complex collaborative tasks. As a result, robots can naturally convey the operator's intentions, significantly enhancing the level of human-robot collaboration and interaction.
