This recruitment drive is specifically aimed at students from elite global universities. It encompasses undergraduate and master's students from the 2026 graduating class in China, doctoral candidates from the 2025-2026 academic years in China, as well as undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students from the 2025-2026 academic years overseas. The available positions are centered around pivotal fields such as AI algorithms.

Prospective candidates are required to embody three essential qualities: being a "trailblazer in academia," displaying "unwavering technical passion," and possessing "innovative thinking."

In addition to his role at the IRB, Yu Chengdong also oversees the Terminal Business Group (BG) and spearheads the company's AI strategy at the corporate level. This dual responsibility fosters synergistic benefits for Huawei's AI strategy, aiding in the creation of a seamless "model-application-data" closed loop. This, in turn, expedites the commercialization process and iterative enhancements of AI technologies.
