On September 25 (local time), Nscale, a UK-based AI infrastructure company, declared the successful closure of its Series B funding round, amassing a staggering $1.1 billion. This feat stands as the largest funding round ever recorded in both the UK and European history. The round was spearheaded by Norway's Aker ASA, with continued participation from existing shareholder Thornton Capital. Additional investments poured in from BlueCat Capital, Dell, Fidelity, G Squared, Nokia, NVIDIA, Point72, T.Capital, and other prominent investors.
