On September 19, Wu Hong, the Deputy Director-General of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, announced at the Guangzhou AI and Robotics Innovation Products and Services Launch Event that artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics represent the forefront technologies and pivotal industries driving future growth. Guangdong Province has unveiled a suite of 12 policy measures aimed at expediting breakthroughs in core technologies, showcasing exemplary application scenarios, and propelling the implementation of the 'AI+' and 'Robot+' strategies. These efforts are set to establish Guangdong as a hub for a holistic AI and robotics industrial ecosystem, characterized by a fully integrated industrial chain, a strong ecological infrastructure, and extensive real-world applications.
