Following over five years of collaborative research endeavors, a research institute and a scientific team from Donghua University have successfully engineered a groundbreaking neurofiber electrode, dubbed "NeuroWorm." This electrode is remarkably thin, akin to a human hair, and boasts exceptional softness, stretchability, and precise maneuverability. This innovative technology marks a pivotal shift in bioelectronic interfaces (encompassing brain-computer interfaces and human-machine interfaces), transitioning them from static to dynamic states and from passive recording capabilities to active, intelligent detection systems.
