According to data released by QuestMobile for August 2025, Doubao's monthly active user base reached 157.42 million, marking a 6.6% month-on-month increase, and surpassing DeepSeek to claim the top spot on China's native AI app monthly active user rankings. Although DeepSeek's user base remains in the hundred-million range, it slipped to second place due to a -4.0% month-on-month growth rate.
