Korea Post has recently made an announcement, revealing that it is gearing up for an all - encompassing overhaul of its customer service operations. The plan is to bring in artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the realms of mail and financial services. This move is intended to modernize the delivery process, ease the strain of labor shortages, and boost overall efficiency.
As per a report from 'Business Korea' on the 8th, Korea Post is set to kick off a project next year. The project will focus on designing and integrating a 'digital counter' platform. This innovative platform will incorporate multimodal artificial intelligence, large language models, and autonomous systems. Once developed, it will be implemented in both postal and banking services. And starting from 2027, a nationwide rollout of this platform will take place.
