On September 9, Zhang Yunming, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), stated at a press conference organized by the State Council Information Office that while the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) is expected to replace certain repetitive and hazardous jobs, it will also concurrently boost labor efficiency and safety standards, paving the way for the emergence of numerous new jobs and professions. Moving forward, the MIIT will work in tandem with relevant departments to fully harness AI's potential in driving job creation and enhancing operational efficiency.
