TSMC announced today that, propelled by the AI craze, there exists a robust demand for computing power and cutting-edge semiconductors. The company is brimming with confidence regarding its growth trajectory in the coming years. Speaking at the annual shareholders' meeting, Chairman Mark Liu highlighted that clients continue to harbor a positive outlook on the AI industry's prospects. The escalating integration of AI models across consumer, enterprise, and national-level applications has spurred a heightened demand for computing power. This, in turn, has fueled a consistent uptick in orders for advanced semiconductor chips. In April, TSMC revised its full-year revenue projections upwards and unveiled plans to ramp up capital expenditures for the year, aiming to cater to the burgeoning market demand.
