According to the financial report for the second quarter of the 2026 fiscal year released by Broadcom, the company's total operating revenue soared to US$22.187 billion, marking a 47.88% increase from the same period last year. Shareholder-attributable net profit also witnessed a significant uptick, reaching US$9.310 billion, an 87.51% jump year-on-year. Moreover, the gross profit margin expanded to 69.48%, reflecting a 1.52 percentage point increase compared to the previous year. Free cash flow also experienced robust growth, amounting to US$10.262 billion, a 60.07% year-on-year rise.
Within this financial landscape, revenue from the AI semiconductor business stood out, achieving US$10.8 billion, a remarkable 143% increase year-on-year. The semiconductor solutions segment also posted impressive figures, with revenue reaching US$15.009 billion, a 79% surge from the previous year. Looking ahead, Broadcom anticipates that its revenue for the third quarter will reach US$29.4 billion, representing an 84% year-on-year increase. Notably, AI semiconductor revenue is projected to skyrocket to US$16 billion, marking a more than 200% increase from the same period last year.
In addition to these financial milestones, Broadcom's board of directors has approved a quarterly cash dividend of US$0.65 per share, which is scheduled to be paid on June 30.
