According to sources familiar with the matter, the initial public offering (IPO) of Quantinuum Inc., a quantum computing company backed by Honeywell, was oversubscribed by more than 20 times, with the pricing expected to exceed the revised range on Wednesday evening. The IPO attracted significant subscription demand from pure long-only investors. Quantinuum originally planned to issue 21 million shares at a price range of $45 to $50, which was later increased to 26.5 million shares at a price range of $53 to $55, raising up to $1.46 billion and valuing the company at approximately $14.3 billion.
