CCTV Finance reports that American consumers are scrambling to purchase electric vehicles (EVs) to capitalize on available tax credits before the incentives expire. Cox Automotive's data reveals that approximately 130,100 new EVs were sold in the United States in July, marking a 26.4% surge from the previous month and nearly 20% higher than the same period last year. This represents the second-highest monthly sales record, trailing only December 2022's figure of roughly 136,000 vehicles.
