According to CNBC, American consumers are swiftly making purchases of electric vehicles to capitalize on the $7,500 tax incentive before the deadline. Statistics reveal that electric vehicle sales constituted 9.1% of total passenger car sales in July, marking an all-time high. Additionally, used electric vehicle sales neared 36,700 units, setting another new monthly record. It is anticipated that electric vehicle sales will achieve another record peak in the third quarter, yet sales are likely to plummet significantly in the fourth quarter.
