On August 4, the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) released data indicating that nationwide wholesale sales of new energy passenger vehicles by manufacturers in July 2025 amounted to an estimated 1.18 million units. This represents a 25% increase year-on-year and a 4% decrease month-on-month. From January to July of this year, cumulative wholesale sales reached 7.63 million units, marking a 35% year-on-year growth. This robust expansion is attributed to the "value competition" framework guided by multiple government departments, which has fostered a healthy development trajectory for the industry. Manufacturers have proactively aligned with these policies, adjusting their competitive strategies to collectively drive a thriving new energy vehicle market, even during traditionally slower seasons.
