BAIC Group Registers July Sales of Over 117,000 Units, Marking a 26.9% YoY Growth in Independent Brand Sales

On August 4, BAIC Group released its sales figures for July, reporting a total of 117,000 vehicles sold, representing a 2.3% increase from the same period last year. Over the first seven months of 2023, cumulative sales have reached 935,000 units, up 5.6% year-on-year. Notably, independent brands shone brightly, achieving sales of 75,000 units, a remarkable 26.9% year-on-year growth. Joint venture brands contributed 42,000 units to the total sales, while overseas markets saw sales of 23,000 units, up 20.5% compared to the previous year.
